Hello, my name is Elly and I’m an intern with the National Park Service Chesapeake Bay Office, part of the Chesapeake Bay Program in beautiful, historic Annapolis, Maryland. This summer I’ll be documenting different sites that are part of the Chesapeake Bay Gateways and Watertrails Network (www.baygateways.net), the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail (http://www.nps.gov/cajo/), and the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail (http://www.nps.gov/STSP).
Originally hailing from Connecticut, I’m thrilled to be in a new area and can’t wait to discover all of these sites. Follow me through this blog to learn more about each site I visit and how they relate to each other.
